In this paper, I attempt to approach the space between "punctus contra punctus" (point counter point) on the basis of the theory of "Aida" (Bin Kimura, 1988) and the theory of "intermediate area" (D.W.Winnicott, 1971). With regards to the concept of "between a note and a note" in the theory of "Aida", I found something common to the theory of psychotherapy and the musical theory of "contra punctus/ counter point", "fugue" and "prélude non mesuré/ prelude no measure". I will discuss "Aida" in comparison with the concept of "point and point" in the aspect of cognition, "a client and a therapist" in the aspect of personal relations, "a word and a word" iR the aspect of communications, "a piece and a piece" in the aspect of collage (one of art therapy). "Aida" is apt to be affected by the aspects of how "betweenness" is formed between two subjects. In my understanding, for keeping an adequate space "Aida" ,the following point are found vital;
1. Interplay on common grounds.
2. Reliability between the client and the therapist.
3. Playing as an important element.
4. A deep understanding toward the client as the essence to this space.
Furthermore, "Aida" is composed of the following three elements: 1. Connecting, 2. Punctuating, and 3. Reuniting. These elements create a "Gestalt" of "Aida".
