The Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) laboratory is a virtual learning environment for schoolteachers. The purpose of this study is to examine how the CSCL is designed for teachers' education based on the theoretical considerations of situated learning theory, the CSCL, and teachers' education in general. In this paper, we deal with the quality of the interaction among the teachers in the CSCL environment and the development of the interface supporting this interaction.
