It has been attached the significance of Japanese language in 8th century. But, there have been not so many studies of Kundoku - Japanese readings on Chinese character texts - in transcriptions of Kogoshui.\n　I set about making inquiries and comparative studies into Kundoku in transcriptions of Kogoshui. The initial stage of these studies, I picked up Karokubon and Ryakuninnbon, for the representative transcriptions of Kogoshui. Karokubon is the oldest extant transcription of Kogoshui, copied in 1225. Ryakuninbon is copied in 1238, and annotated in details more than Karokubon.\n　The Kundoku in Karokubon - Kogoshui is similar to the Kundoku in transcriptions of Nihonshoki in the medieval ages by Yoshida's Shintonists.
