This book plays an important part in the study of Tsurezuregusa.\n　Many notes of Tsurezuregusa from Edo-period to our own day follow the explanation of Tsurezuregusa-Jumyōinshō. This book explanates characters names of Tsurezuregusa and traces quotations to their original sources.\n　Tsurezuregusa-Jumyōinshō clears that Tsurezuregusa quotes many famous phrases from Genji-Monogatari， Makura-no-sōshi and Waka.
