This is based on the experience of Welfare-Mate Workshops and Welfare-Mate Activities organized by the non-governmental organization, called Aichi Welfare Ombudsman as well as its partner organization, called the Nagoya Welfare Network in Aichi. The author considered how the participants of the workshops and the activities had developed genuine interpersonal relationships with the service receivers.
