According to the colophon, this manuscript was copied in 1889. Shoki-shiki is a book in which diacritics are added to the words and phrases that are extracted from the text of Nihonshoki. This study examines the objectives for copying a book of this kind by comparing this manuscript and the Shokokan-bon.
