Subjects were randomly divided into 4 conditions. The subjects saw a female lecturer making a short speech. In condition A, the lecturer made a speech with cheerful facial expressions. In condition B, the lecturer made a speech with gloomy facial expressions. In condition C, the lecturer made a speech looking her gaze down. In condition D, subjects saw only a lecturer's still photo and heard her voice.\n A group that evaluated the lecturer's speech most understandable was D, and a group that made the lowest evaluation was B. A recall rate of the speech was also measured. The sex difference of the recall rate was significant. Conditional differences were found only in female data.
