It was published in incomplete form by Shirota Seki who was a classicist in Kashiwazaki, Echigo.\n　This book was modeled on Kojiki-den that was written by Norinaga Motoori in 1798. Seki wanted to write an annmotation book that equals Kojiki-elen. He aimed to eliminate Chinese embellishments on the original Nihonshoki. His intentions are turning up on this book, shuch as revisioins of text, diacritics, and annotations.
