Britain is acknowledged to have the highest number of overseas nurses in Europe. This paper aims to discuss today's diversity management issues by considering the case of overseas nurses employed at St.James Hospital, part of the largest NHS Trust in the UK. In Japan, nurses from the Philippines and Indonesia are now able to work legally under the Free Trade Agreements.
