In this article, the result of the research that applied the artifact development analysis (ADA) to the means for learning is reported. ADA analyzes the process of selection and rejection of artifacts based on the goal-adaptability and the value system of the user. Among a series of activities including the hypothesis searching, the hypothesis generation, and the hypothesis confirmation, this article reports the first activity. A web-based questionnaire research for 200 informants was conducted and a list of research questions for the second activity was generated.
