In Japan, new consortium is launched aiming to provide digital textbooks for all elementary schools and junior high schools. Such digital textbooks are classified into two categories. One is the \"Digitized textbook\". The other is the \"Application with textbook format\". In this paper, at first, features of above two categories of digital textbooks are shown.
