This paper focuses on this work in the hope of illustrating its characteristics as a commentary as well as discovering some ploblems which exist in Tsurezuregusa itself.\n　This paper compares Tsurezuregusa-kuge with its predecessors and makes the following points clear.\n　Firstly, although it has been regarded as a commentary from Confusian view-points, Tsurezuregusa-kuge in reality tries to approach Tsurezuregusa through the study of Genji-Monogatari and Makuranososhi and tankas.\n　Secondly, Tsurezuregusa-kuge in many passages turns its attention to correspondences between chapters of Turezuregusa. This can be estimated as a new feature and accomplishment of Tsurezuregusa-kuge.\n　Thirdly, if we divide commentaries on Tsurezuregasa into two kinds, that is, detailed academic study adb brief introductionary work, Tsurezuregusa-kuge stands between those two.
