As the most plausible mechanism, it is proposed that a mixture of racemic amino acids in the prebiotic sea caused spontaneous and effective optical resolution through self crystallization, even if asymmetric synthesis of a single amino acid has never occurred without the aid of an optically active molecule. This hypothesis is based on recrystallization of a mixture of D,L-amino acids in the presence of excess of D,L-asparagine (Asn). The enantiomeric excess (ee) of each amino acid in the resulting crystals indicates that crystallization of co-existing amino acids with the configuration same as that of Asn took place, although it was incidental whether the enrichment occurred in L- or D-amino acids. In addition, the resulting ee was sufficiently high (up to 100%) to account for the predominance of L-amino acids on the earth.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_relation_14":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isIdenticalTo","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.3390/sym2021022","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_10001_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kojo, Shosuke"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"10120","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2014-07-22"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"Symmetry2,1022.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"897.0 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"Origin of Homochirality of Amino Acids in the Biosphere","url":"https://ouj.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/8170/files/Symmetry2,1022.pdf"},"version_id":"0cb99cc5-2d4a-4c0b-bc12-566d46165b90"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"homochirality","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"L-amino acid","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"crystallization","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"chemical evolution","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"optical resolution","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"asymmetric synthesis","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"enantiomeric excess","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"homochirality","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"L-amino acid","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"crystallization","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"chemical evolution","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"optical resolution","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"asymmetric synthesis","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"enantiomeric excess","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Origin of Homochirality of Amino Acids in the Biosphere","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Origin of Homochirality of Amino Acids in the Biosphere"},{"subitem_title":"Origin of Homochirality of Amino Acids in the Biosphere","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"12","path":["522"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2014-07-22"},"publish_date":"2014-07-22","publish_status":"0","recid":"8170","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Origin of Homochirality of Amino Acids in the Biosphere"],"weko_creator_id":"12","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T16:13:13.105426+00:00"}
