| 内容記述 | ノストラダムスの『予言集』には，様々な地名が登場する。しかし，それを整理・分類した研究はあまりない。本稿では，1555年の初版に登場した詩篇（第1巻1番～第4巻53番），1557年版で増補された詩篇（第4巻54番～第7巻42番），1568年版で増補された詩篇（第8巻1番～第10巻100番）に分け，それぞれで登場する地名を集計し，分析した。その結果，フランス国内については，どの地域圏の地名も満遍なく登場しているが，とりわけオクシタニー地域圏の地名が突出して多く，第8巻以降でそれが顕著なことが分かった。これはおそらくオスマン帝国による侵攻を警戒したものだろう。フランス以外の地名の中では，当時のヴェネツィア共和国に属する地名や，中央ヨーロッパの地名が増えているのも，そのことと関係があるものと思われる。また，第8巻以降では変則的な綴りのために，論者によって読み方の分かれる地名が増えている。この事実は，第8巻以降が読みづらい草稿のまま，ノストラダムスの生前には刊行されなかったことを疑わせる。その場合，第二序文の奥付にある「1558年6月27日」は何者かによる改竄で，本来は「1559年6月27日」と書かれていたのではないだろうか。そのように考えると，第8巻以降はカトー＝カンブレジ条約の後にまとめられたものとなり，その頃の国際情勢も，地名の出現率に影響していると考えられる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The Prophecies of Nostradamus contain a number of references to various toponyms. However, there is a dearth of studies that have organized and classified these references. In this paper, we have divided the toponyms appearing in the 1555 edition (Centurie I-1 to IV-53), the 1557 edition (IV-54 to VII-42), and the 1568 edition (VIII-1 to X-100), and we have analyzed the resulting data. Consequently, the distribution of toponyms in the Prophecies is relatively uniform across all regions of France. It is noteworthy that the toponyms in the Occitanie region are particularly prevalent, especially in Centuries VIII-X. This is likely attributable to concerns about the potential invasion of the Ottoman Empire. Furthermore, the number of toponyms with irregular spellings has increased in Centuries VIII-X. This leads to the assumption that Centuries VIII-X were never published and remained in draft form during his lifetime. In light of these considerations, we posit that the date "June 27, 1558" in the colophon of the second epistle was altered from the original "June 27, 1559" by an unidentified individual. Consequently, we postulate that Centuries VIII-X were compiled subsequent to the Treaty of Cateau-Cambrésis, and that sucinternational events also influenced the frequency of toponyms. | |||||||||||
