| 内容記述 | 本稿は、オンライン教育センターにて取り組んでいる、放送大学における教材・素材アーカイブシステムの設計について述べる。アーカイブは、将来にわたって保存する価値のある資料の保管を行うことである。コンピュータを用いてさまざまな情報を取り扱うようになったことから、デジタル技術によって構築されるデジタルアーカイブが構築されるようになった。遠隔により授業を学生に提供を行う放送大学は、放送科目、オンライン科目といった、教材を制作して授業を提供する。作成された教材は、専門家が制作し、説明で用いられる教授方法や、その時々の時節を反映した資料としても価値が高いといえる。アーカイブの対象は、最終物だけでなく、制作途中の素材も含まれる。このため、教員により提供される素材や、ロケ映像なども対象であり、後継科目や関連するテーマを扱う科目の制作に役立つ有益な資料になると期待できる。アーカイブシステムは、VPJ（Video Processing Japan）社が開発したCIERTOと呼ばれるデジタルアセット管理システムDAM（Digital Asset Management）をプラットフォームとして構築を進めており、クラウド上に存在する。アーカイブシステムに登録できる教材・素材のメディアは、多種多様である。デジタルアーカイブでは、教材の収集、蓄積、提供だけでなく、蓄積したコンテンツをAI等で解析し、目的となる教材を検索する索引であるメタデータとして用い、登録された教材をさまざまな活用につなげることができる。また、運用に伴い、システムへのログを用いて利用者の行動を推測するなど、教材・素材アーカイブの機能を、データで検証しながら継続的に改善を図ることもできる。放送授業は閉講とともに学内であっても確認が困難となっていたため、教材・素材アーカイブシステムのサービスはこれまで存在しなかった、重要なサービスといえる。本稿での検討を踏まえ、実際のサービス提供につなげる開発を進める予定である。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper describes a design of a teaching materials and material archiving system at The Open University of Japan, which is being worked on by the Online Education Center. Archiving is the storage of materials that are worth preserving in the future. Since computers have been used to handle various information, digital archives constructed by digital technology have been constructed. The Open University of Japan, which provides classes to students remotely, produces teaching materials such as broadcast courses and online courses and provides classes. It can be said that the prepared teaching materials are highly valuable as materials that reflect the teaching methods used in explanations and the times of the time. The archive includes not only the final product, but also the material that is in the process of being developed. For this reason, materials provided by faculty members and location footage are also covered, and it can be expected that they will be useful materials for the production of successor courses and courses that deal with related themes. The archiving system is being built using a digital asset management system called CIERTO（DAM）developed by VPJ（Video Processing Japan）as a platform, and it exists in the cloud. There are a wide variety of media for teaching materials and materials that can be registered in the archive system. In addition to collecting, accumulating, and providing teaching materials, the digital archive analyzes the accumulated content using AI and other means, and uses it as metadata, which is an index to search for target teaching materials, and can lead to various uses of registered teaching materials. In addition, along with the operation, it is possible to continuously improve the function of teaching materials and material archives while verifying them with data, such as estimating user behavior using logs to the system. With the closure of broadcast classes, it has become difficult to check them even on campus, so it can be said that the service of the teaching materials and material archiving system did not exist until now, and it can be said that it is an important service. Based on the studies in this paper, we plan to proceed with development that will lead to the actual provision of services. | |||||||||||
