| 内容記述 | 1920年から24年にいたる時期は、中国社会にとって「国民革命への過渡期」であると考えられている。そうであるならば、政治の場ではなおも軍閥支配が続くこの間も、社会の底流では人々の意識の変革に向けて様々な運動が続けられていたということができよう。とりわけ五四運動以後に際立ってきた近代的マスメディアの盛行が、そうした意識変革に与えた影響は無視し難いものであった。1920年に馬千里が中心となってすすめた『新民意報』の発刊は、まさにそうした運動のひとつであったということができる。本稿は、その発刊から停刊に至る間の同報について「馬千里日記」をもとに明らかにしたものである。そこでは専らこの新聞を対象として、その経営について、論説について、副刊について、更にはこの新聞が当時の社会にどのような影響を与えたかについて論述した。また馬千里周辺の若い知識人たちが、それぞれに、その後どのような方向に進んだかについても言及した。 | |||||

| 値 | The years between 1920 and 1924 are often regarded as the "transitional period of the National Revolution." If we accept this evaluation as an accurate representation of the period, then we might point to the fact that in spite of the continuation of warlord control in the political system, there were numerous movements in society at large that were bringing about a change in popular consciousness. In the period after the May Fourth Movement, the newly flourishing mass media was one of the important influences on such revolutions in consciousness. The Xin Min Yi Bao, founded by Ma Qianli and a group of his colleagues in 1920, is one example of this new mass media. In this essay I am going to use the references to this newspaper that can be found in Ma Qianli's diary for the period between the founding of the newspaper and the date when it ceased publication. This essay will focus on the Xin Min Yi Bao, examining the management of the newspaper, the newspaper's editorials, the special supplements it published, and the influence of the newspaper on society at that time. The essay will also give some attention to the young intellectuals who were associated with Ma Qianli and the various careers they followed in later years. | |||||
