| 内容記述 | 江戸時代後期の儒学者である脇蘭室（一七六四～一八一四）の著作の中に、『徒然草』とのかかわりを見出し、蘭室の精神形成と著述行為に与えた『徒然草』の影響力を考察する。主として取り上げる蘭室の著作は、四十二歳から四十三歳にかけて書いた回想記『見し世の人の記』と、二十三歳の歳末に書いた随想『歳蘭漫語』である。この両書を精緻に読み解くことによって、著述スタイルと思索の内容、そして文章表現の三つの面で、蘭室が『徒然草』の影響をいかに大きく蒙っていたかを明らかにする。本稿の考察は、『徒然草』が、後世の文学作品のみならず、思想家の和文においても大いなる規範として機能していることを解明することになる。ひいては、近代の批評家の述作にまで連なる散文の手本として、『徒然草』が日本の文学史上、極めて重要な役割を果たし続けてきたことを実証するための、一つの貴重な事例ともなろう。 | |||||

| 値 | Waki Ranshitsu (1764-1814) is a Confucian scholar who prospered in the late Edo-era. The present thesis tries to find out relations with Tsurezuregusa in his works and consider the influences by Tsurezuregusa upon the mental development and writing activities of Waki. It mainly deals with two books by Waki, that is, 見し世の人の記 Reminiscences of People of Old Days and 歳闌漫語 Idle Talks at the End of the Year (Sairan Mango). The former is a memoir written when Waki was forty-two and forty-three years old; the latter is a book of essays composed toward the end of his twenty-third year. This thesis analyses these books in order to illustrate how much Tsurezuregusa infiuenced upon the style, contents and expressive methods of Waki's literary writings. In the history of Japanese literature, Tsurezuregusa played a very important role as model of modern criticism both in Waki's times and after. The works of Waki offer precious documents which prove such importance of Tsurezuregusa. |
